In every community, there are unsung heroes - volunteers who go well beyond their expected duties. The "Golden Pick Award for Outstanding Community Service" is in recognition of an individual who has made a significant impact on the community in the past year.
Past recipients have met some or all of the following qualifications:
- Must be living, working, or serving in Lumpkin County.
- Be an individual who has made a significant difference and has contributed to the improvement of our community through volunteerism.
- Be actively involved in various community activities.
- Nominee must be present at Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon to accept a commemorative award.
