Leadership Lumpkin
Leadership Lumpkin Community Project

Leadership Lumpkin County uses an interactive, interpersonal curriculum designed to support leadership skills development and exposure to community organization and infrastructure.  Each year, as part of the curriculum, the class of participants must choose and/or develop as many as four sustainable community outreach projects to enhance or better our community.

With this in mind, we are giving you and your organization a project application. Please understand that not all projects can be selected based on the size of each leadership class

If you have submitted an application in the past and would like to re-submit your project or submit a different project, you may do so.

Please submit completed project applications to Stefani Logsdon at the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce by August 5, 2013.

Leadership Lumpkin - What is it?

llccolor

Leadership Lumpkin County is the experience of a lifetime. It requires commitment and time (1 day a month) from class members, but, in return, offers a substantive education on the inner workings and resources of our county! Leadership Lumpkin was designed over 30 years ago to be a springboard for those interested in volunteering their time to community service.

In addition to learning about what makes our county prosperous, participants get to meet the community leaders who make things happen. Class members also have a year to get to know each other, develop business associations, and forge new friendships.
