Sure, we have a lot of assets that make doing business here attractive: a great location, competitive land prices, business and industrial parks, broad educational and technical training resources, a local hospital, a beautiful natural environment and an excellent quality of life. But what most sets us apart from other communities our size is our forward-thinking approach to economic development.

Dahlonega and Lumpkin County have organized a full team of local, regional and state professionals who support existing businesses, facilitate local business expansions, assist companies considering relocation into the county and promote opportunities for entrepreneurial enterprises. Not only are we working to meet business and industry’s current needs, we are also well into strategic planning work that is preparing our community to meet the new challenges of the future, expanding opportunities for the existing and new businesses who invest here and the citizens who live here.
