The Chamber has worked with City and County government to address specific needs of a business for infrastructure enhancements that impact their business and represented the Merchant Coalition to address areas of need and priority to keep our community safe and thriving.
When there is an apparent need that needs to be addressed for our business community, our Board of Directors responds through bringing experts together in the given field to create opportunities and enhance communication.
Through communication from our business community on the need for technology information and education on available infrastructure and resources, the Technology Committee was born. Collaboration with healthcare professionals, both local and regional, helped bring the Healthcare Committee into fruition. Communication with our Lumpkin County School System and the University of North Georgia led to the engagement of our Education & Workforce Development Committee.
Please remember that a priority of our Chamber of Commerce is to advocate on your behalf and to be a partner in creating an environment that leads to your success and the success of our community.
If you have a challenge or an idea that can help you and your neighboring businesses be successful, we want to hear from you. We encourage you to get involved with your Chamber and help us help you make great things happen.
